About the Department
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Alwardas Polytechnic College, established in 2017, is one of the core engineering departments of the institution. The department is committed to providing strong technical foundations and practical exposure to students in the field of Mechanical Engineering.
The diploma program focuses on key areas such as manufacturing processes, thermal engineering, machine design, workshop technology, and CAD/CAM applications. The curriculum is designed as per the State Board of Technical Education, Andhra Pradesh, ensuring both academic rigor and industry relevance.
