About the Department

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at Alwardas Polytechnic College was established in the academic year 2017–2010 with an intake of 60 seats, which was later increased to 120 seats in the academic year 2022–2023. The department is dedicated to imparting quality technical education in Electronics and Communication Engineering and related areas.

The department is supported by well-equipped laboratories and modern infrastructure in Electronics, Communication Systems, VHDL, C Programming, and Embedded Systems. The curriculum emphasizes both theoretical understanding and practical learning to prepare students for industry and higher education.

The department has a team of experienced and qualified faculty members supported by skilled laboratory staff. Faculty members actively participate in professional development activities such as training programs, conferences, research projects, and publications.

Through technical activities, industry interaction, and placement support, the department strives to develop competent diploma engineers ready to meet the demands of the electronics and communication industry.

Established in 2017, the department provides strong laboratory infrastructure that is periodically upgraded to support effective learning, experimentation, and innovation.
